Hi all,
I am currently trying to get the St Joseph's Times out to you, but unfortunately, we are having some technical difficulties! I will get it out to you all asap!
I just wanted to say on behalf of myself and all the staff at St Joseph's a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the lovely gifts and cards, we are all very grateful.
Have a lovely summer break and we will see you on Wednesday 21st August.

A message from Miss Anderson.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff in the school for their hard work and dedication this year; to you our parents for the support you have provided us with so we can get it right for your children; and of course, last but not least, to our wonderful pupils who are at the heart of all we do, and who have progressed so well this year.
Finally, it is with a heavy heart that I have to say farewell to you all within this wonderful community at St Joseph’s. I have loved my time here as acting headteacher and will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for the support you have given me, and for making me feel so welcome. Moving forward, I know that you will be well looked after in the highly capable hands of Mrs Vanessa Anderson, who has accepted the post of interim Acting Headteacher for the six week period from August.

Reminder about the gala tomorrow
!Dear Parent/ Carer,
Kelty Gala is fast approaching, and as part of the celebrations the children from both schools are invited to parade down to the event in their school group. The parade will take place on Saturday 29th June at 12pm.
If your child/children would like to take part they are welcome to attend. Families are being asked to meet at the industrial estate at the top of Cocklaw Street from 11:30am onwards. We ask that all children are accompanied by an adult, as we do not have enough staff to attend/cover.

I have added photos of the P7 treat to the News section of the app. The staff and children all had a great time. Looking forward to seeing them all on Friday afternoon for their final afternoon at St Joseph's.

P7 Updates
A few questions regarding what the children have to wear for Leavers night tomorrow. There will be a bouncy castle, food and activities set up so I would recommend them to wear something comfortable. The children will get an opportunity to get changed in the afternoon, if needed. They already have PE with Mrs Smith on a Wednesday afternoon anyway. They will stay at 3 and go straight into the hall.
A gentle reminder that they will be getting piped out at approximately 2.45pm on Friday. The classes and teachers will be in the playground to watch this as well. It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible. I will definitely be there to see them off too :(
I will share any photos from the Leavers night as soon as I can. These will be in the 'News' section of the app.

If you want your child to have milk next term please log in and pay before Wed 26th June.
The cost for the term is £8.25. Late payments cannot be accepted.
